As an Information Security Officer at Scholt Energy you play a key role in protecting information and ensuring privacy within the organization. In a data-driven and highly regulated environment, you will ensure the right balance between risk management and facilitating the business. You develop and implement organization-wide policies in the field of information security and privacy, laying a solid foundation for safe and reliable business operations.
You closely follow (international) developments, laws and regulations and technological trends and translate these into concrete improvement initiatives that are in line with Scholt Energy's strategy. You make complex regulations understandable, create support and guide colleagues in their application in daily practice.
In this role you work closely with various disciplines within the organization and actively steer the progress, quality and impact of security and privacy initiatives. You will also provide clear reports for management and supervisors on risks, incidents and performance. Incident management is an important part of your work, in which you ensure careful follow-up, compliance and transparent communication. Knowledge sharing and strengthening security awareness within the organization are an essential part of this.

A completed Master's degree and at least 5 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with information security and privacy
Experience with (data) analysis and interpreting complex issues
Knowledge of relevant ICT technologies and methodologies
Experience with project management and change processes
Strong analytical and critical ability with an eye for quality and compliance
Ability to clearly translate complex issues into concrete actions
Result orientation, ownership and strong communication skills
A proactive attitude and enjoy working with various stakeholders
