Quantitative Analyst – Balancing

Make an impact on tomorrow's energy market! Become our Quantitative Analyst for Balancing!

As a Quantitative Analyst - Balancing, you will create the forecasting models that take our trading results to the next level.
You will develop and improve models that forecast market prices, production and energy demand. These models form the core of our strategies within automated trading systems. You will combine AI, machine learning and mathematics to build accurate, robust and scalable forecasts that have a direct impact on our daily operations.

We are looking for a driven professional with a strong quantitative background who gets energy from building and improving smart models. You combine analytical thinking skills with practical implementation power and enjoy working with different teams to make an impact. With your experience in Python and modeling, you will translate data and market trends into concrete improvements, while continuously learning and optimizing.

  • You have a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Signal Processing ( or similar) and at least 3 years of relevant experience, including Python and modern AI/ML techniques

  • Experience with monitoring, validating and adjusting models based on real-time and historical data
  • You are analytically strong, work accurately and have experience monitoring and validating models based on historical and real-time data

  • You are proactive, enjoy working with teams such as IT and Analytics, and translate market insights into smarter models and strategies
