Risk & Compliance Officer

As Risk & Compliance Officer, you will help accelerate our growth by making risks manageable and ensuring that we comply with all laws and regulations within our international organization.

The world of energy is changing rapidly. The energy transition requires an organization that is agile and makes sharp choices. You develop and maintain the risk policy, manage the Risk Register and provide insight into operational, financial and strategic risks. At the same time you ensure that we comply with relevant laws and regulations by keeping compliance policies up to date, performing internal controls and audits and identifying and mitigating compliance risks in a timely manner.

You maintain active contact with regulators and authorities and act as a point of contact for all regulatory obligations. In addition, you prepare periodic risk and compliance reports, support external audits and provide reporting to regulators, including for the supply licenses in our various countries. You advise management based on clear analyses and business cases, implement the Risk & Compliance policy internally and work closely with colleagues to implement improvements and projects organization-wide.

  • Completed University degree

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience within risk management and/or compliance.

  • Experience with and knowledge of audits, project management and risk management methodologies.
