Application Analyst Gorilla/finance

Written by Recruitment | 02 June 2026

Get your IT career moving! As Application Analyst Gorilla & Finance Apps, you will be the central point of contact in a combination role for our applications around rate calculation and finance processes.

In this role you are responsible for analyzing, optimizing and further developing our applications, with a strong focus on Gorilla (rate calculator) and our Finance apps (Exact, CreditDevice, SRXP and Scansys). You will work closely with stakeholders from different departments, such as Finance, Sales and Operations, to understand their needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.

Gorilla is a relatively new platform within Scholt Energy (since early 2026) and is still under construction. It is also the only application within our landscape that operates on a low-code computing platform, which makes this role extra dynamic and innovative.

This means that you not only work on management and optimization, but also play an active role in the further design, implementation and further development of the platform. We are currently working on the rollout to multiple countries, where quality, structure and scalability are essential.

You will be part of our Application Management Backend team, where we work with modern technologies and continuously build a future-proof application landscape. Within this role you will investigate the impact of changes on processes and systems, perform structured tests and clearly document complex process flows.

In addition, you will monitor the coherence between Gorilla and the various finance applications and contribute to integrations and architectural choices. You work intensively with internal teams and external suppliers and know how to bring structure to a dynamic environment with multiple dependencies. With your analytical view and structured approach, you translate complex issues into concrete improvements that directly contribute to the quality of our billing and pricing processes.

This role also offers the opportunity to grow towards more technical issues, such as data integration, API links and data modeling, depending on your interest and development.

  • A bachelor or master degree and preferably relevant experience in application management or (functional/technical) analysis

    - Affinity with financial processes and/or energy billing

    - Experience with or interest in workflow-based applications (such as Gorilla or similar tools)

    - Knowledge of or experience with applications such as Exact, CreditDevice, SRXP, Scansys or similar systems is a plus

    - Experience with writing and executing structured test cases (e.g. via Azure DevOps / Test Plans) or the motivation to learn this

    - SQL knowledge or the ambition to learn this quickly

    - Knowledge of, or affinity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and their application in a dynamic environment

    - Excellent command of the Dutch language

    - An analytical mindset, accurate work style and strong communication skills

    - Able to clearly document complex processes and engage stakeholders in solutions

    - A proactive and goal-oriented attitude, working independently and actively thinking about improvements and future design

You will join an ambitious and goal-oriented organization focused on delivering climate neutral energy for businesses, where a personal yet professional culture and a strong team spirit are key. The company supports your growth, values initiative and offers flexibility, attractive benefits and plenty of opportunities to develop yourself while enjoying a positive and engaging work environment.
